What is SPOTIO’s Existing MCC Feature?

In 2020, we released the first iteration of our MCC feature.

This allowed sales reps, their managers, and specified SPOTIO admins to send and receive calls, emails, and text messages from inside the SPOTIO app.

We won’t lie, the release of MCC was a big deal!

According to Forbes, the average worker toggles between apps 10x per hour, resulting in 32 days worth of lost productivity per year. That’s a lot of time!

All in all, 70% of workers are challenged by the sheer volume of work communication apps they’re forced to use on a daily basis. And two out of three workers would prefer a single platform to use for their jobs.

SPOTIO’s MCC feature solved this issue for field sales reps. For the first time ever, they could manage all of their communications with prospects from one place: the SPOTIO mobile app. Plus, all activities completed in the app were automatically logged inside of SPOTIO.

There was just one problem: MCC was only available via the SPOTIO mobile app. This meant that field sales reps couldn’t communicate with prospects from their computers, hampering their ability to work out of corporate office spaces.

In other words, if you sign up for either of our “Pro” or “Business” plans, we’ll create a digital business card for you that contains your first and last name, your profile picture, the name of your company, the number listed in your SPOTIO account, and your integrated email address.

In addition to this default card, “Pro” and “Business” users will be able to create extra digital business cards that contain customized information. To do so, follow these 5 steps:

Create Your Digital Business Card

  • Step 1: Log into the SPOTIO mobile app.
  • Step 2: Click the “Gear” icon at the top left corner of your screen. This will take you to the “Settings” page. Then tap into the section titled “Business Cards”.
  • Step 3: Click the “+” icon in the top right corner of the “Business Cards” page. Doing so will take you to the “New Card” page where you’ll be able to design a new DBC.
  • Step 4: Enter your information in the appropriate fields. Your options include your first name, last name, phone number, email address, title, a headline, and an image. (Note: your business card must include a phone number or email address to be saved.)
  • Step 5: Click the “Save” button at the bottom of your screen. Then make your way back to the main “Business Cards” section to see your custom DBC.

Share Your Digital Business Card

Digital business cards will only benefit your sales career if you share them.

SPOTIO gives you multiple ways to do this. For example, you can share your DBCs internally, which is ideal for setter-closer sales models.

You can also send them directly to prospects. All you have to do is click on the business card you’d like to share, then click the “Share” button at the bottom of your screen. Next, click the arrow in the “Lead” section of the “Share Business Card” page to choose the lead you’d like to send your DBC to. Then choose how you’d like to send it to them: text, email, or QR code.

Sorting

Show All Custom Fields

User can now see all fields from the “log visit“ screen. By default, only required fields are visible. However, you have the ability to see and fill out all fields on the “move to next stage” screen.

Sort and Filter Leads by Last Outcome

Field reps may sort by outcome so that they can isolate the leads in their territory by status. To do this, select a filter by outcome in order to focus on leads by current outcome/status.

Search/Add Manual Address

Sales reps can quickly add a lead whether they’re currently in the vicinity of that lead location or not. This allows users to easily add a new lead to their pipeline whenever is most convenient for them.

Insight SPOTIO Routing enables reps to see exactly where to go, what to do, and the most efficient way to get there. Set your meetings, update notes in real-time, then prospect new accounts in between meetings.

Features To maximize efficiency and output in the field, SPOTIO provides a variety of route calculations based on multiple scheduling criteria:

By Distance: Creates routes based on distance or scheduled activity, identifying the shortest path from destination to destination (pin to pin). By Schedule: Routes can be calculated from current user location to the pin with the nearest planned appointment. By ‘No’ Schedule: If route includes appointments without a particular time, these will be arranged by distance at the end of route. By Meeting Length: If a meeting duration is scheduled, route calculations will take meeting duration into account. SPOTIO will calculate arrival time based off one meetings end and then next meetings start. By All Day Appointments: If route includes appointments labeled as “all day”, these meetings will be arranged by distance from one another. Arrival times will be calculated for both driving and walking.
